A bit of Yurk history

1982 - they were born. 1989 - Wiedervereinigung. 1995 - they turn thirteen. 1998 - mike buys a guitar for 250 Frs. 1999 - first & second album released. 2000 - all four flunk their exams and run away from home. 2003 - sam gets arrested for having sung "Hop Mariannele" barefoot on Fifth Avenue. 2007 - Hanno goes on a honeymoon with a street lamp. 2059 - Simon falls off an elephant in Southampton and breaks his elbow. By then he starts making a living out of vacuum cleaning advertising. 2061 - great Yurk performance in a Wahlenheim church. 2162 - we learn on local news that Simon is beatified. 2710 - Sam is born again. 2982 - they all die.
