The long anticipated reunion of Yurk finally materialized on April 14, 2001. The Yurkers met at a top secret location in downtown Strasbourg, playing together for the first time since their infamous party gig last June. Even Sam managed to get his act together and show up at the right place at (almost) the right time, in a reasonably sober state. The session was recorded and even filmed for posterity. Among the highlights were a Russian-flavor polka version of the Beatles' intellectual testimonial "She Loves You", and a long workout on Bob's "All Along The Watchtower". |
